House rules
House of Om Sanctuary is a place of rest. These house rules help every guest feel safe and at ease. By booking a pass you agree to follow them, together with the guidance of our team and facilitators.
-
Arrival and check-in
- The gates open at 8:00 on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November.
- Check in at the registration table. Show your e-ticket or its QR code, on your phone or printed. If you don’t have a ticket yet, you can buy one there.
- You will get a lanyard or wristband when you check in.
-
Quiet spaces and phones
- Some areas are quiet zones. Please keep your voice low there.
- Keep your phone on silent and out of the practice spaces. No calls inside the studios and sound rooms.
-
Shoes, clothing and belongings
- Please take your shoes off before you go inside.
- For yoga, movement and floating sessions, wear comfortable, loose clothing.
- Lockers are very limited and are used at your own risk. Please look after your belongings. House of Om is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal items, except where that liability cannot legally be excluded.
-
Workshops and sessions
- Arrive 10 minutes early for each session.
- There is no entry once a session has started.
- Guests with a reserved place go first. Any places left are first come, first served.
- After a session, put the props back neatly and wipe down shared mats.
-
Pool, sauna and ice bath
- The pool, sauna and ice bath are closed for the whole grand opening weekend. They open after the grand opening, for exclusive access.
- This does not affect the Floating Sound sessions on the floating beds.
-
Health and safety
- Yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound healing and other sanctuary practices carry natural risks, including physical injury, dizziness or other unwanted effects.
- You are responsible for choosing sessions that suit you. Before a session, please tell the facilitator about any injury, medical condition, pregnancy or recent surgery.
- Practise within your own limits, listen to your body and follow your facilitator’s reasonable guidance.
- If you feel pain, dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath or anything concerning, stop and let your facilitator know straight away.
- Facilitators may offer modifications, or ask you to pause an activity, when they reasonably believe it is needed for your safety.
- Hands-on assists are always optional. You can decline them at any time, before or during a session, and change your mind whenever you like.
- Please don’t take part in sessions after drinking alcohol.
- It will be hot. Drink plenty of water, rest in the shade and take breaks when you need them.
- If you are unsure whether a session is right for you, please check with your doctor and speak to our team before booking.
- First aid is at the two reception booths. If you feel unwell, or see someone who needs help, go to either booth or tell any team member.
-
Extra care for some sessions
- Breathwork: speak to the facilitator first if you are pregnant, or have epilepsy, a heart condition, high blood pressure, glaucoma or a detached retina, a history of panic attacks or a serious mental health condition, or have had recent surgery. Some breathing techniques may not be right for you.
- Sound healing and gong baths: tell the facilitator if you have a pacemaker or a metal implant, epilepsy, tinnitus or sensitive hearing, or if you are pregnant.
- Aerial sessions: the hammocks are not suitable during pregnancy unless your doctor agrees. Tell the facilitator if you have glaucoma, high blood pressure, a heart condition, vertigo, back problems or recent surgery, and follow their instructions when getting in and out.
- Floating sessions: tell the team before the session if you cannot swim. Stay on your floating bed and follow the facilitator’s instructions when getting on and off.
- Acro yoga: only try what feels right for you, and work with a spotter.
- Light effects: some sessions, such as the Sound & Light Journey, use light effects. If you have photosensitive epilepsy, speak to our team first.
-
Photos and filming
- We take photos and videos, and live-stream, during the weekend for our website and social media.
- If you prefer not to appear, tell the registration table when you arrive. You will be given a special lanyard so our media team keeps you out of frame.
- Please ask other guests before you photograph or film them.
- If you wish to film your own content, please ask our team first and get consent from everyone who may appear.
-
Food, drink and alcohol
- Please don’t bring your own food, drinks or alcohol. Food and drinks are available to buy on site, at the café, the Tea Lounge and the food truck.
- If you have a food allergy, tell the staff before you order.
-
No smoking, vaping or drugs
Smoking, vaping and illegal drugs are not allowed anywhere on the premises.
-
Respect for the space and each other
- House of Om holds sacred objects and altars. Please treat them with respect, and respect the different cultures and traditions that meet here.
- Please treat facilitators, staff and fellow guests with kindness and respect, and follow reasonable instructions from our team.
-
Lost property
Lost something? Go to reception. Anything found on site is kept there.
-
Right of admission
House of Om may refuse entry, end a guest’s participation or ask them to leave if their behaviour raises a safety concern, seriously disrupts others or breaks these house rules, subject to applicable law.
-
Liability
- House of Om takes reasonable steps to keep our space safe and to deliver sessions and services with appropriate care. However, physical and wellness practices carry natural risks, and we cannot guarantee that taking part will be free from injury or other unwanted effects.
- Nothing in these house rules excludes or limits any liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under Thai law.
